Designed for active and emerging investors
The inaugural Heading for Change Insights Report distills two and a half years of investing, grant-making, and field-building at the intersection of climate and gender finance.
Over the past two and a half years, we have deployed $2MM in investment capital to build a global demonstration portfolio, which manages a collective $2.8BN as well as mobilised a set of catalytic grants into ecosystem level initiatives.
Overall, these are signals to the market that significant opportunity exists at the climate and gender nexus. It moves from theory to practice — highlighting opportunities, what’s working, what we’re learning, and where momentum is building.
This report is designed for active and emerging investors, offering insights that inspire action across climate, health, and systems-level impact. It outlines our shared understanding of what works, where value is emerging, and how capital can be a lever for more resilient, equitable climate outcomes.
If you are just getting started Sections 1 & 2 dive into the ‘what, why, and why now’ of climate and gender investing. Those further along can dive into Sections 3–4 for real-world case studies, our investment process, and practical tools. Finally the report concludes with calls to action for investors, intermediaries, and policymakers.
We invite you to join us in moving the field and practice of climate and gender investing further, faster and smarter.
“Bringing gender, race and diversity into our investment decision-making process isn’t just an add-on when it comes to solving climate change.
